Job Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources Mangement or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with credit union/banking compliance training.
  • Superior communication skills.

Experience:

  • 5–10+ years in training and development in the financial services industry, specifically.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
  • Experience managing LMS platforms.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and delivering hard and soft skills training programs.

Training Strategy & Program Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee onboarding training programs.
  • Design training for member service, lending, contact center, and operations.
  • Partner with leaders to identify training needs.
  • Create and maintain training materials.
  • Support product and system implementations and system upgrades.

Adaptive Learning & Training Delivery

  • Adapt training to kinesthetic, auditory, and visual learners.
  • Design blended learning experiences.
  • Assess learning preferences.
  • Incorporate interactive learning techniques.
  • Modify training pace and format.
  • Use coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure inclusive and accessible training.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance training alignment (BSA/AML, UDAAP, etc.).
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Monitor training quality.

This full-time position is approximately 40 or more hours per week. Saturdays are on an as needed basis. Flexibility is a must.

Standard hours are: Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
