The Credit Representative's responsibility is to manage customer receivable accounts as assigned to minimize Flambeau's risk and maximize cash flow position.
  • Assess creditworthiness of current and potential new customers through credit insurance provider.
  • Collection of receivables through contact with customer on past due invoices and appropriate follow up to ensure payments are received.
  • Set up new customers.
  • Review deductions and process credit memos.
  • Reconcile warranty claims.
  • Internal follow up with other Flambeau departments to resolve customer deductions taken.
  • Reconcile customer accounts as needed.
  • Assist with cash application as needed.
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Requirements
  • 2 year degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
  • 2 years of credit experience including cash application preferred.
  • Good computer skills including competency with Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel level preferred.
