About The Role:
The Credit Analyst will be part of our Credit Team, playing a critical role in maintaining customer relationships while managing overall financial risk. This position is responsible for reviewing and decisioning credit applications, monitoring active accounts, and working directly with the store network. The Credit Analyst works closely with the Sales, Accounting, Collections and Customer Care Teams, to ensure quality lending decisions while providing a high-level customer experience. This position plays a strong part in the company's fair lending and risk management strategies.
Reports To: Credit Manager
Essential Functions:
  • Evaluate and decision consumer credit applications
  • Identify risk and research unresolved credit related questions
  • Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and partners
  • Assist with training needs throughout the sales network

Requirements:
  • Our ideal candidate will have a 2+ years of finance or credit related experience
  • A preferred background in banking, retail lending, credit, mortgage, auto financing, or similar
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule. Weekend hours required

Education & Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma required, advanced education a plus
  • Preferred office related experience in finance, banking, or retail

Supervisory Responsibility: None.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, tablets, and other office equipment.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is position and hours of work would routinely be 40+ hours per week and requires working every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Given the nature of the position, there may be occasions that extra hours and travel may be required.
