While in this role, you will be responsible for generating sales via the phone channel. Furthermore, you will respond to inbound phone sales inquiries into Consumer Lending Direct Sales Contact Center on all marketing sponsored campaigns and direct mail efforts. You will be responsible for driving sales through outbound calling initiatives. Additionally, you will serve as subject matter expert for borrowers and will assist in identifying needs, making recommendations, and lending guidance. You will also be responsible for explaining and offering appropriate sales options and recognizing cross sell opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and enhance current and potential customer relationships. It is important to note that you will accurately, and consistently complete customer follow up work throughout the origination process to ensure the best possible customers and prospects with a consistent, efficient, and quality lending experience while supporting the Consumer Lending Strategy. Most importantly, you'll feel valued for who you are and supported to achieve what's important to you, personally and professionally!
Primary responsibilities include
  • Handle incoming calls and provide guidance and solutions to prospects and customers with basic lending needs.
  • You will be responsible for driving sales through outbound calling initiatives.
  • Refer to other areas for products that require complex financial analysis and expertise. respond to incoming calls from customers already in process.
  • Pipeline management and maintain ongoing communication with customers as necessary to ensure a simple fast and hassle-free lending experience.
  • Participate in organized and self driven training course aimed at advancement.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of lending criteria, policies, procedures, regulatory and ERL certification requirements.
  • Meet and exceed established volume.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Requires ability to navigate a computerized data entry system.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, telephone etiquette and friendly attitude
  • Effective interpersonal stills, must be a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable and willing to be flexible with work schedule, including working overtime if needed.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Hours & Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday & Tuesday (8:30 AM to 6:00PM); Thursday & Friday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM) Saturday (9:00AM to 2:00PM); Wednesday Off
