Job Summary:

The Traffic Manager is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all incoming jobs within the Twin Cities Imagine Studio to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely allocation and tracking of work through the team. This role plays a critical part in balancing workloads, supporting production flow, and ensuring that customer commitments are met.


This is an onsite role based at our Shakopee, MN office.


Job Description:

  • Prepare and maintain the Twin Cities Imagine Studio daily job schedule by evaluating and assigning incoming work to the appropriate team members based on specialized roles, team capacity, delivery commitments, estimates, and time standards.
  • Monitor and adjust allocations as needed to accommodate shifting priorities, capacity constraints, or urgent customer needs.
  • Forecast the team workload at the individual team member level to ensure readiness for new and incoming jobs.
  • Prepare reports on production schedules, project activity, capacity, and job status updates.
  • Collaborate closely with Studio Director to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain balanced workloads.
  • Provide accurate, timely communication to stakeholders regarding job status, capacity, and schedule adherence.
  • Maintain system trackers and dashboards that reflect current allocations and workload distribution.
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the teamโ€™s project management systems.
  • Gather data and report metrics on schedule performance, including whether work is being completed on time and according to plan.
  • Identify scheduling risks and bottlenecks to escalate or resolve them proactively.
  • Assist in developing and refining scheduling processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support studio operations and workflow management.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications of Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in scheduling, production planning, traffic management, or creative operationsโ€”preferably in a creative, commercial print, or packaging manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications of Position:

  • Knowledge of structural design processes for retail display and packaging
  • Experience in Esko WebCenter or Adobe Workfront production/project management platforms

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

The national pay range for this role is listed below. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
