Who are we hiring?
We're looking for a versatile, experienced strategist with proven success crafting compelling pitches. This is a highly-collaborative role that acts as a bridge among Creative, Global Partnerships, and Marketing, as well as other stakeholder groups. This person needs to be a thought leader, capable of crafting brand and new business storylines. They should also be comfortable working very closely with creatives and sitting within a creative department.
What will you do?
  • Partner closely with the Global Partnerships and Marketing teams to shape the storylines for new business and renewal pitches. Marketing partners sponsor everything from spaces to content to giveaways to entire brands within the MSG Sports and MSG Entertainment ecosystems
  • Work with designers to build and write presentations
  • Immerse yourself in MSG's iconic brands
  • Develop strong relationships across the Creative Studio, Global Partnerships, Marketing, and Social teams
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Anthropology, Psychology or similar
  • 10+ years of experience as a brand/creative strategist, preferably in an agency or agency-style environment
  • Extensive success pitching new business
  • Knowledge of and passion for music, live entertainment, sports, and pop culture
  • The ability to:
  • Concept thought-starter creative concepts for content and activations
  • Clearly articulate ideas
  • Constructively synthesize feedback
  • Experience leading projects
