Job description

In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

  • Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.

  • Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).

  • Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.

  • A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.

  • Federal Work Study student may apply.

  • In good disciplinary standing.

  • Must be located in the U.S.

This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented student who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep creative projects running smoothly. The Student Creative Admin will help manage Mediagraph, Berklee's digital asset management (DAM) system used by faculty, staff, and students to access photography and visual assets. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining photo collections, creating selects for projects, generating image links for emails and campaigns, and ensuring accurate metadata, tagging, and documentation.

This is a critical support role as Berklee prepares to launch a new brand and website in the fall, making accuracy, consistency, and follow-through essential. The position will potentially jump in on creative production tasks as needed, such as assisting with TV slide collateral, templated one-sheets, resizing and formatting images, linking assets for email communications, working within Asana, and collaborating with designers, photographers, and social media staff. Students in this role will gain hands-on experience in creative operations, digital asset management, and cross-team collaboration, while learning how strong organization and visual systems play a vital role in storytelling, branding, and institutional success.
