Job Description

The Social Creative Director leads the strategy, creative vision, and execution of Raising Cane's social media presence to drive brand affinity, engagement, cultural relevance, and meaningful business impact. This role oversees social content development across platforms, guiding the team in delivering high-impact, trend-driven storytelling that keeps Cane's at the forefront of social conversations while supporting broader brand and business priorities.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative strategy and execution of photo, video, and copy-based social content across all brand channels, ensuring a bold, consistent, and on-brand presence
  • Define and evolve Cane's social creative vision, leveraging cultural moments, platform trends, and emerging formats to maximize engagement and relevance
  • Oversee content ideation, capture, editing, and publishing workflows to ensure timely, high-quality execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Operations, and external agencies to align social content with campaign objectives and brand pillars
  • Guide and mentor creative talent, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous development across the team
  • Translate insights, performance data, and industry trends into actionable creative direction and scalable content strategies
  • Ensure social content remains at the forefront of pop culture, driving conversation and reinforcing Cane's brand identity
  • Concept and execute bold, earned social moments and culturally relevant activations through hands-on creative leadership

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 30% of travel
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of social or creative experience with a focus on social media with a proven track record in a senior creative leadership role within a top-tier agency or in-house team
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience concepting and executing large-scale earned social media stunts, platforms, and campaigns
  • A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing recent high-performing, award-winning social media work
  • Proven ability to capitalize on cultural moments by quickly creating impact social activations
  • Expert knowledge of current social media marketing methodologies and nuances of various social media platforms
  • Hands-on experience from concept to production, with a willingness to contribute to directly to execution
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Extreme attention to detail, with a strong understanding of design principles and the creative process
