Position Title:             National Account Director, On-Premise

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • The position will oversee the critical placement, execution and follow-up of points of distribution & planner execution of wines from the Jackson Family Wines portfolio in the on-premise National Accounts. This role will support and interact closely with JFW, Crown and Distributor management teams.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to navigate the JFW system and work closely with all divisions and companies involved
  • Represent the entire JFW portfolio to National Account core decision-makers as a brand ambassador and industry professional
  • Collect pricing, execute programming with timely communication and platform coordination and liaison to JFW, Crown and Distributor teams
  • Create and deliver RFP Presentations & Business reviews in required format
  • Travel for in person presentations and conferences
  • Develop and implement creative marketing programs, educational and training materials
  • Target, sell, and manage key priority portfolio placements in on-premise accounts
  • Oversee the tactical activation of field marketing plans
  • Achieve top line growth targets, without compromising the essence of the brand or sales expense budgets
  • Develop and conduct staff training seminars
  • Keep current on channel market trends
  • Work with marketing to create account specific effective POS
  • Continue to develop wine knowledge, business acumen and sales skills to increase professional growth
  • Must be organized and have great attention to detail
  • Display original and creative thinking for problem solving
  • Ability to work in a fasted paced environment, adapt and respond to change quickly
  • Responsible for working within approved expense budget
  • Other duties as assigned JFW National Account leadership team
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-year minimum National Account experience preferred
  • Understanding of pricing, distributor systems, inventory control, state beverage regulations
  • Must possess a current driver’s license, maintain current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. case of wine
  • This position requires the availability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours and weekends, when necessary
 
 
 
 
WAGE TRANSPARENCY:
The base salary for this role ranges from $110,000-130,000 annually. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
 
In addition to the salary, employee will be eligible for a discretionary bonus, $600 a month auto allowance, company issued cell phone, paid home internet (up to $50/month), expense account and other sales incentives.
