Job Description

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials, WIP and finished goods to manufacturing as needed to produce components and keep equipment running
  • Clean machines, sweep floors, and transport product
  • Perform all activities safety as required by company policy including safety checks as required.
  • Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, ISO and 5S

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and company provided hearing protection is required on the shop floor at all times.
  • Company approved safety glasses are also required on the shop floor at all times.
  • Company provided bump cap is required on the shop floor.

This position is 12 hour night shift.

  • Company approved steel toe/safety shoes are required on the shop floor.
