Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Assist servers in food service and restaurant cleanliness. Deliver food items from the kitchen to the guests' table in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Prepare runner stations and service areas prior to service, including setting up condiments, garnishes, utensils, beverages, and other required items.
• Greet all guests in a warm, personal and friendly manner.
• Check that each plate is wiped, correctly garnished and complete according to order specifications, paying special attention to any allergy modifications, prior to leaving the kitchen. Accountable for all plates leaving the kitchen window.
• Deliver food items to guests' tables as ordered and within the appropriate time limits (hot food hot, cold food cold), describing each food item when placing them in front of the guests using the CPS method and seat position numbers.
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, and allergy safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Confirm allergy indicators on food orders and follow proper procedures when handling or delivering allergy-sensitive items.
• Check for proper condiments and utensils when approaching the table to deliver food.
• Maintain active communication with kitchen and management to stay informed on menu changes, 86'd items, allergy notices, and special instructions.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, guest seat numbers, and dining room sections to ensure accuracy and efficiency in service.
• Assist guests with any requests or concerns and take action to correct any problems.
• Assist service team as needed by removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters throughout guests' meal and take them to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Keep clean kitchen pass out and runner stations, regularly checking floor for debris.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as plates, utensils, pizza boxes, condiments, and to go items throughout service period.
• Take extra care to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in each duty performed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
• Report for work on time and uphold expectations for attendance, uniform, and professional conduct. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
