Whatyoulldo

Ownday-to-day CPG accounting

  • Help managehands-on daily and monthly accounting,reconciliations, including month-endclose
  • Maintain the general ledger, bank reconciliations, and supportingschedules
  • Assistin preparingaccuratemonthly and annual financial statementsin accordance withGAAP


Manufacturing, inventory & margin focus

  • Assistwithinventory accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and reconciliations between physical and financialinventory
  • Partner with operations and manufacturing to ensureaccuratecosting, yield, and wastereporting
  • Assist Controller withgross margin analysis by channel, product line, andcustomer
  • Partner closelywithaccounts receivable and payable, with attention to deductions, collections, and cashflow


Partner with leadership

  • Support the Controller in financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hocanalysis


Build scalable processes

  • Monitorand improve accounting policies, procedures, and internalcontrols
  • Support ERP and system enhancements as the business grows in complexity andvolume
  • Assistwithtax, regulatory, and food manufacturingcompliancerequirements


Be ateamplayer

  • Create cross-training and process documentation to ensure continuity andreliability
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented accountingfunction

The hiring range for this position is expected to be between $135,000 and $150,000 annual salary. Base pay offered will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and market location.
