What is a Cpap Remote job?

A CPAP Remote job typically involves assisting patients who use Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines for sleep apnea. Responsibilities may include troubleshooting device issues, providing remote patient support, monitoring compliance data, and guiding users on proper usage. These roles are often performed by respiratory therapists, customer support specialists, or healthcare professionals working from home or an off-site location.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Cpap Remote position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a CPAP Remote position, you need a thorough understanding of CPAP therapy, medical device troubleshooting, and patient support, often supported by experience in respiratory therapy or a related healthcare field. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, CPAP monitoring software, and potentially certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or similar credential is valuable. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to teach patients remotely are important soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure effective patient care and therapy adherence, even when support is provided from a distance.

What does a typical workday look like for a remote CPAP specialist?

A typical workday for a remote CPAP specialist involves interacting with patients via phone, video calls, or secure messaging to provide education, troubleshoot equipment issues, and monitor therapy compliance. You'll use telehealth tools and CPAP management platforms to review usage data, track patient progress, and document your interventions. Collaboration with physicians, sleep technologists, and support staff is common, as you may need to report patient concerns or work together on complex therapy adjustments. This role is structured for autonomy, but communication and teamwork are crucial for delivering high-quality remote care.

Job description

Regional Account Manager – Western US (TriWest)

Location: Remote (Preference for Colorado Springs, CO or San Antonio, TX) Travel: Approximately 20% within the TriWest region Focus: CPAP Referrals & TRICARE Provider Relations

The Mission

As our Regional Account Manager for the TriWest region, you will be the primary bridge between our life-changing sleep therapy services and the military community. You aren't just selling a product; you are ensuring that active-duty service members, veterans, and their families receive the CPAP equipment and support they deserve. You will hunt for new referral opportunities within Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and civilian TRICARE providers while providing world-class account management to keep those relationships thriving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively solicit and secure CPAP referrals from MTFs and civilian medical practices seeing TRICARE patients.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the dedicated point of contact for referral sources, ensuring their clinical and administrative needs are met with precision.
  • Strategic Networking: Navigate the complex TRICARE referral ecosystem to shorten the bridge between a doctor’s prescription and patient care.
  • Clinical Education: Educate providers on our specific CPAP programs, compliance tracking, and patient outcomes.
  • Regional Growth: Manage your territory autonomously, hitting growth targets while maintaining a 20% travel schedule for site visits and provider meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

The "Must-Haves":

  • The Golden Key: Existing access/credentials to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
  • Expertise: A proven background in at least one of the following:
    • Medical Sales (DME or Respiratory preferred).
    • Clinical experience (Sleep tech, Respiratory Therapist, etc.).
    • In-depth professional experience with the TRICARE referral process.
  • Territory Mastery: Ability to work remotely and travel 20% of the time across the Western US TriWest region.

The "Nice-to-Haves":

  • Established relationships with Sleep Labs or Pulmonary clinics in Colorado or Texas.
  • Experience using CRM tools to track referral pipelines and account health.

Why Join Us?

  • Impact: Support the health and readiness of the US Military community.
  • Autonomy: We trust your expertise. This is a remote role where you own your schedule and your results.
  • Stability: Work within a specialized niche of the healthcare market with a consistent referral base.
