Description
Ravenswood Solutions is seeking an experienced military veteran to provide operational electromagnetic warfare (EW) expertise in support of advanced training system development, testing, and user evaluation activities. The selected candidate will assist engineering, training, and program teams by translating operational requirements into realistic training scenarios, test procedures, and performance assessments.
This position serves as the operational bridge between technical developers and military end users, ensuring system capabilities align with current doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and can be effectively employed in realistic training environments. Preference will be given to former U.S. Marine Corps personnel with experience in electromagnetic warfare, communications, signals intelligence, spectrum operations, or related operational fields.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Analysis & Requirements Support
  • Review operational requirements and identify measurable performance objectives.
  • Translate operational needs into test procedures, evaluation criteria, and demonstration scenarios.
  • Assist with development of requirements, traceability and verification methods.
  • Provide operational feedback on system functionality, usability, and training effectiveness.

Test Planning & Execution
  • Develop and execute test procedures supporting system verification and user evaluations.
  • Assist with planning and execution of demonstrations, exercises, and field assessments.
  • Document expected results, test objectives, and operational success criteria.
  • Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting activities.

Training Scenario Development
  • Develop realistic training scenarios based on current and emerging threat tactics.
  • Assist with force-on-force exercise design and execution.
  • Advise on realistic electromagnetic spectrum operations and contested communications environments.
  • Support development of after-action review methodologies.

Operational Integration Support
  • Provide operational insight during system development and integration activities.
  • Evaluate proposed capabilities from an end-user perspective.
  • Support interaction with military stakeholders, evaluators, and training personnel.
  • Assist in identifying capability gaps and recommending improvements.

Documentation & Reporting
  • Contribute to test plans, demonstration plans, operational assessments, and technical reports.
  • Develop operational vignettes and use cases.
  • Assist with preparation of customer briefings and program documentation.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honorable military service.
  • Minimum 8 years of military operational experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electromagnetic Warfare (EW)
  • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Tactical Communications
  • Information Operations
  • Spectrum Management
  • Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection
  • Radio Frequency systems
  • Experience participating in military exercises, evaluations, or operational testing.
  • Ability to translate operational concepts into written procedures and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel in support of demonstrations, tests, and training events.
