POSITION SUMMARY

Costco Lead Generators work as members of the General Air Conditioning and Plumbing team inside of Costco Warehouses generating leads for air conditioning and heating replacement estimates. They engage Costco members by asking and answering member's questions to determine their interest and needs in receiving a no cost, no obligation HVAC system replacement estimate.

OBJECTIVES

  • Engage Costco members in friendly conversation and establish reports
  • Ask Costco member's questions and answer their questions regarding the Costco Lennox HVAC Program.
  • Submit member information to Costco Program Manager so an estimate may be scheduled.
  • Ensures the highest level of client/member satisfaction consistent with General Air's and Costco's mission and values.
  • Submit to General Air interested Costco members information so an estimate can be scheduled by telephone, fax, and email.
  • Engage every Costco member that is in proximity of the Costco/Lennox display
  • Provide friendly energetic assistance to members
  • Attend company meetings and training at General Air's office.

COMPETENCIES

  • Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Be able to operate a smartphone and tablet
  • Be willing to travel out of town up to a week at a time for training
  • Possess basic and/or advanced trade experience preferred
  • Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • GED or High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience required
  • Current valid state driver's license required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
