The Job:

As a Cost Analyst, you'll support our NELSON Stud Welding and Ferry Cap Screw & Set Manufacturing and Distribution Operations working as an on-site employee. You'll get to:

  • STANLEY Engineered Fastening ("SEF") is a division of Stanley Black & Decker that generates $2B of annual revenue. SEF trades in engineered products for Automotive & Light Equipment EVs, Industrial, and Aerospace industries with operations concentrated in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
  • SEF provides an innovative and diversified portfolio of fastening products and fastening solutions supported by a market leading brand range with the goal of improving our customer's efficiency and productivity.
  • Business Partner & Leadership
    • Forward looking team member that takes joint accountability for accuracy of financials
    • Make and offer process and system improvements that will create additional value.
    • Review opportunities to standardize processes and routines for the SEF business.
  • Monthly Close and Financial Reporting
    • Establish and monitor effectiveness of standard month end processes, prepare JEs, etc.
    • Support performance by with financial analysis and thorough reporting of plant metrics and KPI's.
    • Prepare financial reports and presentations to support the local businesses.
  • Provides operational financial reporting, financial analysis, and manufacturing cost analysis by:
    • Analyzing and interpreting variances and assessing the effects on plant results.
    • Providing management with the strategic tools and reports to drive business results.
  • Support the fixed asset capitalization and reporting process.
  • Supports the Annual Cost roll setting process through data analysis and insights.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

  • Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct.
