Job Description

Open Scientific is hiring an energetic, motivated staffing industry sales professional to join our rapidly growing Hauppauge, NY office. We are looking for a fun, smart, hardworking individual to help us develop local, mid-market/large-market size business within the Scientific, Engineering and Manufacturing sectors. We specialize in staffing/recruiting for all levels of R&D and Manufacturing skill sets within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, aerospace/defense, chemical, cosmetic and food industries.

Responsibilities:


  • Business development within new accounts in the New York Region. Business development includes the following: cold calling, setting meetings, lead identification and qualification, account management, and being the ultimate resource for our clients.

  • This person will be responsible for prospecting and calling into mid-market/large-market and local business accounts within the Scientific, Engineering and Manufacturing sectors.

  • Establishing target accounts and opening up new relationships.

  • Identifying and qualifying requirements and effectively working with recruiting teams to identify and present talent to open requirements.


Experience and Skills:


  • 2+ years in STAFFING INDUSTRY is a MUST.

  • Experience within Scientific, Engineering, Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech Industries strongly preferred.

  • Ability to effectively identify local accounts to sell Contract and Permanent Staffing solutions.

  • Ability to effectively maintain and entertain strategic relationships.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
