  • 40 hours/week, 23 Month Assignment

A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Hermetics Operator to support hermetic assembly processes used in the production of precision electronic components. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and inspecting delicate parts while ensuring compliance with manufacturing specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

Hermetics Operator Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lower-level components and materials for hermetic assembly operations, ensuring readiness for production processing.
  • Load components into designated belt furnaces, initiate and monitor hermetic processing activities, and verify proper operation throughout the production cycle.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for cosmetic, dimensional, and quality defects using metrology tools, measurement equipment, and established inspection criteria.
  • Interpret prints, follow processing instructions, and apply GD&T methodology to ensure products meet engineering and manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, maintenance technicians, management, and production teams while supporting overtime and additional production demands as business needs require.

Hermetics Operator Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in assembly, manufacturing operations, metrology, measurement tooling, or a related production environment.
  • Experience performing critical cosmetic inspections and handling delicate or small precision components.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) methodology.

Shift:

  • 11:00 an to 7:30 pm.
