Job description

Packaging Structural Engineer Searching for a candidate with deep experience in the displays and packaging industry and works closely with sales, project management, and production to deliver high-quality structural solutions that meet client expectations and production requirements. Our firm manufactures retail displays, corrugated packaging, and point-of-purchase structures. Design & Development Lead the design and development of structural packaging and retail display solutions (POP, corrugated, folding carton, etc.) Create innovative, functional, and cost-effective designs that meet client specifications and brand standards Develop detailed CAD drawings, dielines, and prototypes for production Create and optimize production layouts, including combo runs and layout jobs, to maximize efficiency, material utilization, and production output Ensure all designs are optimized for manufacturability, material efficiency, and structural integrity Ensure all designs align with production capabilities and timelines Troubleshoot design and production challenges as they arise Oversee sample development and ensure prototypes meet expectations Partner closely with Sales, Project Managers, and Clients to translate concepts into structural solutions Support client presentations, including explaining structural concepts and design intent Requirements 5-10+ years of experience in structural design within the packaging, displays, or print industry Proven experience designing retail displays (POP/POS) and corrugated packaging Previous leadership or senior-level design experience preferred Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, Adobe Suite or similar) Strong understanding of materials (corrugated, paperboard, etc.) Knowledge of printing and manufacturing processes Benefits Excellent Benefits / Retirement Plans / Medical / Bonus Path
