As an Associate, Workforce Strategy in our Corporate Strategy organization, you will support senior leaders on workforce and organization priorities. You will apply structured problem-solving, research, and analytical techniques to assess complex challenges, evaluate opportunities, and develop recommendations that inform executive decision-making. Working across a portfolio of enterprise initiatives, you will synthesize data, stakeholder perspectives, and external insights into clear strategic recommendations. You will partner closely with leaders across the organization to shape future workforce strategies and organizational priorities. We value intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, collaboration, and a passion for solving complex business problems.

This team is part of our Corporate Strategy organization, operating as an in-house consulting function focused on workforce and organizational topics. The role is ideal for professionals with management consulting, corporate strategy, internal consulting, or strategic advisory experience who enjoy tackling ambiguous business challenges and developing executive-level recommendations. Success in this role comes from strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, executive communication, and the ability to influence decision-making through insight-driven recommendations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform strategic analyses that address workforce and organizational priorities identified by senior leaders
  • Frame complex business challenges and develop structured approaches to evaluate potential solutions
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate insights and support executive decision-making
  • Develop recommendations on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, operating model design, and talent-related topics
  • Synthesize large volumes of information into clear and actionable executive-level recommendations
  • Conduct external benchmarking and research to identify emerging trends and leading practices
  • Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders to gather perspectives, challenge assumptions, and build alignment
  • Develop executive presentations, discussion materials, and strategic communications for leadership audiences
  • Assess organizational and workforce-related opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs
  • Partner across functions to ensure recommendations reflect enterprise-wide priorities and considerations
  • Coach and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, internal strategy, or a strategic advisory function
  • Experience leading complex analytical workstreams and developing recommendations for senior decision-makers
  • Experience structuring and solving ambiguous business problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent strategy engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise and actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with a leading management consulting firm
  • Good knowledge of the AI landscape – tools, models, etc. and familiarity with how to use them in day-to-day work
  • Experience advising senior executives on organizational, workforce, or operating model topics
  • Experience conducting organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, or human capital analyses
  • Experience working within a large, global organization
  • Experience in financial services or another complex, regulated industry
