Your role at Clorox:

The Head of Real Estate, Workplace & Security (Director) leads our enterprise strategy for physical security, real estate, and facilities operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of our people and assets while optimizing our global footprint to support agility, cost efficiency, and sustainability. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the enterprise to align workplace and security strategies with Clorox's business priorities and culture.

In this role, you will:

Real Estate and Workplace Strategy

  • Develop and implement Clorox's U.S. real estate strategy aligned with business needs, workplace transformation goals and sustainability priorities while providing strategic consulting to all international locations.
  • Drive portfolio optimization, cost efficiency, and workplace design initiatives that support
  • teammate productivity and engagement.
  • Oversee site selection, lease administration, space planning, and workplace experience programs across the company's global office and manufacturing footprint.


Construction and Facilities Management

  • Oversee development and implementation of corporate design and construction strategy in alignment with business objectives and workplace experience goals. Partner with senior leadership to forecast space needs and create long-term real estate plans.
  • Over see Project Management: all phases of design and construction projects, including
  • budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
  • Lead facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant environments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for janitorial, landscaping, and other facility services, driving quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company standards.

Security Leadership

  • Lead the global security strategy, including physical security, access control, crisis management, executive protection, and incident response.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security systems, policies, and procedures across all Clorox sites.
  • Partner with business continuity, legal, HR, and communications teams to prepare for and respond to security incidents or emergencies.
  • Establish global threat monitoring, intelligence, and risk assessment frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Build strong relationships with local, federal, and international law enforcement and regulatory agencies.

Leadership & Strategic Oversight

  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team of security, real estate, and facilities professionals.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team on security, crisis
  • management, and real estate matters.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and continuously improve security
  • readiness, space utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and safety standards across global operations.
  • Champion Clorox's values in all aspects of facilities and security management.

What we look for:

  • 15 plus years of experience leading global corporate security, real estate and facilities operations. (heavy emphasis on real estate and corporate security)
  • Demonstrated experience integrating corporate security, real estate and facilities operations under one umbrella.
  • Strong crisis management and emergency response expertise.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategy across a complex, multinational organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, security management, related field or
  • equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, CFM, or MCR are a plus.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


-Zone A: $179,500 - $369,700

-Zone B: $164,500 - $338,900

-Zone C: $149,600 - $308,100
