D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Corporate Compliance Analyst. The right candidate will provide advisory support to help analyze the Company's compliance with federal, state, and local regulations relating to artificial intelligence (AI), privacy and other compliance matters. This position serves as a subject-matter resource for compliance matters and provides administrative assistance to the Corporate Legal department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct compliance reviews of the Company's AI and privacy processes and related matters

  • Monitor and analyze trends in the Company's compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Develop guidance and reference materials to support compliance programs

  • Address potential violations or deficiencies by compiling relevant regulations and helping prepare responses to regulatory agencies

  • Maintain and organize AI and privacy-related compliance documentation

  • Manage administrative coordination for Corporate Counsel, including preparation, review, and organization of various documents and regulatory filings

  • Partner with legal counsel to gather information for responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, or investigations related to compliance matters

  • Support the scheduling of meetings and travel arrangements, tracking regulatory deadlines, and organization of legal records within the department's document management systems

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

  • Ability to work overtime

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in compliance positions or legal support

  • Strong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essential

  • Working knowledge of AI and privacy regulations and related compliance processes with the ability to interpret and share regulatory information clearly

  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and compliance-related documentation

  • Commitment to handling sensitive legal and environmental information appropriately

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Ability to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

  • The noise level is generally moderate

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred
