Job description

Position Objective:

  • The Point-of-Sale Associate Designer and Coordinator's overall objective is to support the sales team with the POS tools they need to succeed in the market. This includes supporting and designing POS, reporting items as they arrive and storing them properly to ensure the items are distributed to the proper location and parties. The POS area/s must stay organized and the contents tracked accordingly.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a Business Degree or five-year equivalent in the beverage industry.
  • Be able to effectively communicate using oral and written communication. Also, to include strong presentation skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Corel Draw and Adobe Reader.
  • Physically capable of frequent lifting, bending and turning.
  • Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Exude a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Support, design, receive, inventory and store all point of sale, parcels and merchandise upon arrival.
  • Communicate POS received immediately to all appropriate parties.
  • Keep POS areas clean, organized and presentable at all times.
  • Serve as the official backup to the Sign Shop Administrators when volume warrants and for vacations/personal time.
  • Maintain open communication with sales management.
  • Attend sales meetings as necessary to communicate and display POS current material.
  • Maintain forklift certification.
  • Work with the sales department on POS needing to be delivered to retail on a daily basis. Stage and label POS accordingly while communicating a daily POS log to all departments.
  • Manage and inventory miscellaneous sales supplies, glide racks and other items directed by the General Sales Manager.
  • Maintain current inventory of regulated glassware and communicate quantities available by brand to the On Premise/Draft teams.
  • Maintain current inventory of tap handles and communicate out of stocks to the On Premise/Draft Teams.
  • Ensure that all the companys safety rules and practices are adhered to, (both personal and operational).
  • To adhere to all laws, rulings and regulations as prescribed by any regulatory agencies with jurisdiction.
  • Keep open lines of communication with all supervisory and management personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance and adhere to all company and supplier dress requirements. All facial hair will be neatly trimmed.
