A key part of your impact will be shaping team structure, workflows, and resource planning to support scalable and efficient art production. This is a high-responsibility role in a fast-moving, fully remote game development environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the artistic direction and ensure visual quality, consistency, and coherence across multiple game projects
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on artwork across 2D, 3D, animation, and related creative disciplines
  • Oversee art production pipelines and ensure alignment between artistic, technical, and production requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and engineering to ensure project alignment
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and development of artists across multiple teams
  • Define team structure, workload distribution, and resource allocation to support production needs
  • Plan and manage departmental budgets, staffing requirements, and operational capacity
  • Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements to ensure efficiency and stability
  • Ensure adherence to production best practices, workflows, and platform-specific constraints
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback and resolve artistic or production challenges proactively

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in game art production with leadership responsibility on shipped projects
  • Strong expertise in evaluating artistic quality across 2D, 3D, and animation disciplines
  • Solid understanding of game art production pipelines and cross-functional development workflows
  • Proven experience in team leadership, hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation of artists
  • Strong background in task scoping, workload planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to justify and defend creative decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating closely with production, design, and technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or Figma is a plus
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal is an advantage

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work with the ability to work from anywhere globally
  • Flexible working hours and strong autonomy in daily schedule management
  • 20 paid vacation days annually
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile game projects played by millions of users
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture built on trust, care, and creativity
  • Strong professional growth opportunities in a fast-scaling game development environment
  • Exposure to top-tier clients and globally recognized gaming franchises
  • Inclusive, people-first culture with emphasis on work-life balance and respect
