Job Summary

 Working as an HR Director you will be directly responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all facets of the Human Resources department. You will oversee all aspects of training and career development for managers as well as hourly team members.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages the recruitment process for non-exempt, exempt and professional level positions
  • Adheres to federal and state employment laws
  • Responsible for labor relations, collective bargaining and contract interpretation
  • Assists in Human Resource policy development and implementation
  • Directs all investigations and resolutions of grievances and correspond periodically with labor attorneys.
  • Conducts wage and salary analyses to assure competitive compensation in the food service industry
  • Manages all aspects of employee benefit programs and participate in the yearly benefits renewal analyses and vendor selection process
  • Oversees Health, dental and life insurance programs
  • 401K testing and compliance
  • Workers Compensation

  • Direct all aspects of Payroll Department

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of four to 10 years' related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the food service industry a plus
  • Bi-lingual Human Resources professional

  • Able to effectively direct the efforts of a team of diverse human resources professionals
