We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Copy Manager to lead our e-commerce copy function. This role will own the brand voice, content strategy, and editorial direction across all customer touchpoints while managing and mentoring our Copywriters. You will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure our copy is clear, consistent, conversion-focused, and emotionally resonant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the Stelle brand voice across all customer touchpoints.
  • Define and maintain copy guidelines, messaging frameworks, and editorial standards.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all e-commerce and marketing copy, including product descriptions, category pages, homepage content, packaging, hang tags and labels, and social media and email campaigns when needed.
  • Ensure all copy feels on-brand and compelling while also supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns, and business goals.
  • Own messaging strategy to support Manage, mentor, and set priorities and workflows for the Copywriters. Provide clear direction, feedback, and coaching to elevate writing quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with design, marketing, and product teams to translate technical details into clear, engaging, customer-friendly storytelling.
  • Review, edit, and approve all copy to ensure it meets the highest standards of clarity, creativity, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Use performance insights, customer feedback, and testing to refine messaging.
  • Maintain a high bar for detail, accuracy, and polish through rigorous proofreading and quality control.

Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in copywriting or content roles within e-commerce, fashion, or consumer lifestyle brands, including experience leading, managing, or mentoring writers.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, brand storytelling, and conversion-focused writing.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce UX writing and customer decision-making.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
  • Experience with tools such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Docs, and project management platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, iterative environment with evolving priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional editing and feedback skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with a growth mindset, proactive, strategic, and self-motivated, with a curiosity for exploring new ideas, tools, and trends.
  • Experience working in both established brands and lean, growing teams is a plus.
