About the role
 
The Copy Supervisor will conceptualize and develop materials for assigned products, and train direct reports to enhance their abilities. You will participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products and present concepts and promotional materials to the client. You will also partner with the Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned products.  
What you'll do
  • Write effective promotional copy, acting as a primary copywriter on at least one product.  

  • Review material produced by direct reports, as applicable, including review of final manuscripts, as applicable  

  • Supervise senior copywriter(s), copywriter(s) and junior copywriter(s), as applicable  

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned therapeutic categories  

  • Participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products  

  • Understand and ensure compliance with the editorial process  

  • Demonstrate mastery of manuscript submission process, including referencing and regulatory details of assigned product(s)  

  • Interact with Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned products  

  • Present concepts and promotional material to the client  

  • Assist in product launches  

About you
  • 5-7 years of professional writing experience, with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical advertising copywriting experience  

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience  

  • Demonstrated track record for independently producing successful, compelling, and strategically sound pharmaceutical promotional materials in 2 or more therapeutic categories  

  • Comfortable working within tight deadlines  

  • Advanced Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
