As a Copy Intern, you can expect to work on a variety of writing assignments such as drafting social media posts, editing blog articles, assisting with email campaigns, and creating product descriptions. You'll often collaborate closely with senior copywriters, designers, and marketing team members to ensure your work aligns with the brand's voice and messaging. You'll also likely receive constructive feedback and participate in brainstorming sessions, providing a well-rounded introduction to the copywriting field.

What is a Copy Intern?

A Copy Intern is an entry-level position in a marketing or advertising team, focused on assisting with the creation and editing of written content. This role provides hands-on experience in the copywriting field and is a great starting point for those interested in a career in marketing or communications.

Familiarity with content management systems, basic SEO tools, and digital collaboration platforms is typically expected. Creativity, attention to detail, openness to feedback, and time management are soft skills that help you stand out.
