Job Overview
The Facilities Services Manager will partner with department and company leadership to oversee facilities infrastructure and equipment supporting multi-site operations, including headquarter facilities, and offices areas across multiple locations. This role works closely with leadership and colleagues to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction.
The Impact You'll Make
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, buildings, office systems and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and developments standard operating procedures (SOP's) relevant to the managed portfolio. Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Selects, develops, and evaluates vendor partners to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
This role requires full time in office work at our Scottsdale, Arizona office.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include ensuring quality oversight and direction of operational activities such as building and equipment maintenance, workplace planning, space planning and utilization. Demonstrates the ability to analyze and resolve complex, ambiguous problems with a focus on timely solutions. Successful collaboration with stakeholders and centralized real estate and facilities management is critical.
The Facilities Services Manager will lead the following programs:
  • Building and mechanical services management
  • Business Continuity Planning
  • Capital Planning and Project Management
  • Vendor management
  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Workplace services
  • Space planning and utilization

Additional Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with adjacent functional groups such as Real Estate, Security and IT
  • Participate in design reviews for facilities infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring operational support and accessibility post-completion.
  • Identify and document opportunities to reduce operating costs, enhance system integrity, and improve resiliency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage quarterly and annual budgeting processes, including forecasting and accruals.
  • Oversee soft services including janitorial, copy center, mailroom, landscaping, etc.

Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 10 years in Facilities Maintenance and Operations in a geographically diverse, multi-site setting
  • Proven ability to successfully navigate ambiguity
  • Competency in working with facilities or property management software applications
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as work demands dictate
  • Understanding of commercial construction practices and sub-contractor management
  • Ability to work onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), PLC-based controls, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal customers and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
