Wage - $17.75 per hour

Schedule – Part-time, 9:30 am o 1:30 pm, Mon-Fri

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the preparation and cooking of students’ meals in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions:

  1. Prepare vegetables, salads, meats, bread and desserts as instructed and routinely set forth in an appetizing, eye-appealing meal
  2. Prepare meats for cooking by washing, trimming, boning, cutting, cubing or forming into patties or loaves. 
  3. Cook or bake items which require minimum preparation.
  4. Replenishing napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers and condiments.
  5. Make coffee, tea and other beverages and set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line. 
  6. Assist in the storage and inventory of supplies; transfer food ingredients from storage area to cooking area. Clean food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances.
  7. Maintain kitchen equipment in orderly workable condition, and ensure the work area is safe, clean, and sanitary at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year relevant experience.
  • Current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification or ability obtain within 30 days. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
