Step into a high-impact accounting role where your retail property expertise directly shapes financial performance across a South Florida portfolio. Join a tight-knit team where you’ll gain hands-on exposure and real visibility with leadership.

Assistant Property Controller
Salary: $80-125k

• Collaborative, close-knit team environment where your input matters
• Opportunity to deepen expertise in commercial real estate accounting and leasing structures
• Blend of accounting, finance, and operational insight — not just reporting

• Review and abstract retail leases and maintain lease data in accounting systems
• Perform CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations and retail billing calculations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Review tenant ledgers, rent schedules, and collections activity
• Assist with internal controls and financial compliance

Qualifications for the Assistant Property Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• 1–2+ years of retail or shopping center property accounting or commercial property accounting experience
• Experience with CAM reconciliations and retail lease structures (NNN, percentage rent, etc.)
