Job description

Financial Controller

West Palm Beach, FL


Financial Controller:

Own monthly close, consolidation, financial statements, and intercompany accounting.

Manage revenue cycle, AR, collections, denials, payer mix, and cash forecasting.

Oversee AP, payroll accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.

Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and operational KPIs for executives.

Coordinate with CPA firm on tax matters and maintain fixed assets, leases, and debt schedules.

Supervise bookkeeping and AP staff across a multi-entity healthcare organization.


Requirements:

Active CPA license — Florida or eligible for reciprocity.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller/Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager role.

Strong experience with multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, US GAAP, and accrual accounting.

Advanced Excel skills and proven ability to improve accounting processes.

Strong, direct, and collaborative communication style.

Preferred: Behavioral healthcare experience, payer/out-of-network billing, public accounting + industry experience, QuickBooks, and healthcare EMR experience.
