The Control Account Manager (CAM) will oversee financial planning, tracking, and analysis of designated control accounts within our organization. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in earned value management (EVM) and project controls.
Role Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain control account plans in accordance with company policies and contractual requirements
  • Develop and manage work breakdown structures (WBS) for assigned projects
  • Monitor project performance against established baselines using earned value metrics
  • Prepare and analyze variance reports, identifying root causes of cost and schedule deviations
  • Forecast project costs and schedules based on current performance data
  • Collaborate with project managers, functional managers, and technical leads to ensure accurate planning and reporting
  • Lead regular status reviews with stakeholders to communicate project financial health
  • Implement corrective actions to address performance issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and contract requirements
  • Work closely with the programs' Technical, Scheduling and Risk Leads and other CAMs to ensure cost, risk, schedule, and performance are aligned across the program
  • Coach, teach, and mentor junior team members on EVM principles and practices

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience) in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience as a Control Account Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of earned value management systems (EVMS) and project control methodologies
  • Proficiency with project management and EVM software tools
  • Experience with government contracting requirements (DCMA, FAR/DFARS) preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
  • PMP, EVP, or similar certification preferred
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Compensation:
Pay Range:
$128,084.00 - $176,115.50
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
