Contracts / Acquisition SME


The individual will provide Acquisition support, Contract Award and Management support, including recommendations regarding official program direction in the formation of contracts, resolution of contract-related issues, and providing ongoing contract negotiation and contract management for client acquisition requirements. ย The individual will prepare pre-solicitation memoranda, performing analyses of contractors to determine competent and capable sources for solicitation, preparing solicitations that contractually and legally protect the Government's interests, and recommend solutions for various contract topics. ย In addition, the individual shall provide Cost and Pricing support to the Contracting Officers to include support analyzing proposals and preparation of pre and post negotiation documentation. ย The individual will provide Contract Administration to include supporting Contracting Officers in day-to day activities related to the contract administration of contracts, preparing contract award and task order documentation, contract modifications, preparing cure or show cause notices, and correspondence. ย 


General Requirements ย 

  • Experience successfully managing routine to moderately complex matters and providing assistance on broad agency efforts in the relevant subject matter area.ย 
  • Experienced in analysis, attention to detail interaction and coordination with other personnel on policy or process matters and application of procedures, research, documentation and forming recommendations. ย ย 

Requirements

  • Candidate must have an TS/SCI CI poly Clearance and NRO experience.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or III certification, or comparable knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree (in business or technical field). ย
