Senior Technical Quality Specialist
C² Technologies seeks a Senior Technical Quality Specialist to ensure that products meet usability standards and Section 508/accessibility requirements. This senior role will review the work of Technical Quality Specialists, provide coaching, and propose improvements to optimize workflow and processes. This is an onsite or hybrid position.
Summary:
The Senior Technical Quality Specialist will lead testing efforts for functionality and accessibility, ensuring compliance with Section 508 regulations. The position will also provide leadership to a team of Technical Quality Specialists, improving overall testing processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Review and test products for compliance with Section 508 and usability standards.
  • Lead and mentor Technical Quality Specialists to ensure high-quality testing practices.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to address accessibility and functionality issues early in the design process.
  • Ensure that products meet usability and accessibility standards.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in technical quality assurance and accessibility testing.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Section 508 web accessibility guidelines and JAWS testing tools.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • DHS Trusted Tester certification.
  • Experience with UI/UX principles and web development best practices.
  • Knowledge of change and version control systems.

Tools & Software:
  • JAWS, accessibility testing tools, and project management software.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Expertise in Section 508 compliance and accessibility testing.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and web development technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional production teams.
