Job description

The Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement is a senior leadership role responsible for enterprise-wide indirect procurement strategy, with deep ownership of IT Procurement and M&A integration synergy delivery. This role leads a combined team of Indirect Procurement Category Managers and Procurement Operations professionals and directly manages highvalue IT sourcing events and negotiations.

The position partners closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to deliver GAAP and nonGAAP Opex cost reduction, accelerate postmerger integration, and scale compliant procurement operations across SAP Ariba SourcetoContract and PRtoPO. To facilitate collaboration and productivity, this role is in office Tue-Thu per current policy and is not remote.


Leadership, Savings & M&A Integration

  • Lead and develop an 8–10 member team, consisting of Indirect Procurement Category Managers and Procurement Operations professionals supporting Ariba S2C and PR/PO workflows.
  • Own delivery of Financecommitted GAAP Opex budget savings and cost reduction targets, and synergy capture from acquisitions.
  • Drive M&A integration initiatives, including supplier rationalization, contract harmonization, volume leverage, and duplicated spend elimination.
  • Serve as executive escalation point for highrisk sourcing, supplier, and operational issues.

IT Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

  • Lead the team’s global IT Procurement category, spanning software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, hardware, and IT services.
  • Personally lead critical IT sourcing events and complex negotiations, including enterprise SaaS, MSP, cloud providers, and system integrators.
  • Partner with IT leadership to align sourcing decisions to technology roadmaps, security, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Deliver value through contract restructuring, licensing optimization, renewal consolidation, and TCObased decision making.

Operations, Governance & Enablement

  • Ensure efficient, compliant execution across SourcetoContract and PRtoPO processes, with strong Ariba adoption.
  • Simplify and standardize procurement processes to support scale, M&A integration, and improved stakeholder experience.
  • Maintain clear governance, policy compliance, and contract visibility, with proactive supplier and risk management.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of procurement experience with deep IT Procurement and negotiation expertise.
  • Proven leader of both category management and procurement operations teams.
  • Demonstrated success delivering M&A synergy cost savings and enterprise sourcing outcomes.
  • Strong Ariba S2C and P2P experience preferred.
