Surgical Technician – Labor & Delivery – Nights

Location: Torrance, California
Contract: 8 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Nights, including weekends and holidays
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician for an 8-week night-shift assignment supporting Labor & Delivery. This opportunity is ideal for a Surgical Tech with inpatient experience who is comfortable preparing surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile field in a fast-paced hospital environment.

 Schedule
  • 40 hours/week
  • Night shift
  • Every other weekend required
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • No on-call requirement
  • ASAP start
Requirements
  • 1+ year of inpatient Surgical Technician experience required
  • 2+ years of Surgical Technician experience
  • Current Surgical Technician certification
  • BLS
  • Experience preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Experience maintaining the sterile field
  • Experience setting up delivery tables
