Job Details:
Location: Manchester, CT 06040
• Schedule: Evening Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 4×10 schedule may be considered
• Call Requirement: One 24-hour weekend call shift (Saturday or Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) and two weekday call shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) within a 4-week schedule
• Job Type: Local contract/Travel contract
• Contract Length: 12 weeks possible extension
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

•  Local's pay range: $53-$58 hourly

•  Travel pay range: $2300 -$2526/week for 40 hours
Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and surgical teams during operative procedures across multiple specialties.
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and operating room environments.
• Support surgical procedures including orthopedic, robotic, vascular, urology, GYN, colorectal, podiatry, breast, and plastics cases.
• Assist with patient positioning, instrument handling, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Ensure proper setup and support for robotic and advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci robotic systems and Mako technology.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Technician experience – Required.
• BLS Certification through AHA – Required.
• Experience with the following procedures/specialties – Required:
• Urology
• GYN
• Breast/Plastic Surgery
• Orthopedic Total Joints with Mako
• General Open and Robotic Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Colorectal Surgery
• Podiatry
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment and participate in on-call rotations.
