Part-Time Surgical Technologist (2 Days/Week + PRN Opportunities)

Carolina Facial Plastics | Charlotte, NC

Carolina Facial Plastics is seeking a dependable, motivated Part-Time Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team two days per week, with the opportunity to pick up additional PRN shifts based on the surgical schedule and practice needs.
We are a busy, private facial plastic surgery practice with a fully accredited in-office operating room dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding surgical outcomes. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a positive, team-oriented environment where attention to detail and patient safety are top priorities.

Our Commitment to Safety
Patient safety is our highest priority. Every procedure is performed in our fully accredited operating room with board-certified anesthesiologists, and we carefully evaluate each patient to ensure they are appropriate candidates for outpatient surgery. Every member of our team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient care.

Schedule:
  • Part-time.
  • Two scheduled days per week.
  • Opportunity for additional PRN hours.
  • Daytime hours.
  • No nights.
  • No weekends.
  • No call.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room.
  • Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment for each procedure.
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery by anticipating operative needs.
  • Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
  • Perform instrument, needle, and sponge counts.
  • Clean, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments.
  • Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized operating room.
  • Support the surgical and recovery teams as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • CST certification preferred but not required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Operating room experience.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
