Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech) – Permanent | Day Shift
Location: Manhattan, Kansas

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours Guaranteed
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification required
- Previous experience as a:
- Sterile Processing Technician
- Central Sterile Technician
- Instrument Technician
- Central Service Technician
- Strong understanding of:
- Sterile processing workflows
- Surgical instrument handling
- Decontamination procedures
- Sterilization techniques
- Infection prevention practices
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Assemble surgical trays and instrument sets according to department standards
- Ensure proper sterilization processes are followed and documented
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and quality
- Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation
- Prepare instruments and supplies for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with Operating Room staff to ensure timely instrument availability
- Maintain inventory and organization of surgical instruments and supplies
- Assist with SPD and OR support tasks as needed
