Job description

RV Rental & Office Manager

RV Life Is Good – Dayton/Moraine, Ohio

RV Life Is Good is looking for an energetic, highly organized and customer-focused RV Rental & Office Manager to oversee the front-end operations of our growing RV rental business.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, solving problems and managing multiple moving pieces throughout the day. You will serve as one of the primary faces of our rental business and help manage the customer experience from the initial inquiry and reservation through departure, return and final follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, texts and online rental inquiries and help customers select and reserve the right RV.
  • Manage reservations, contracts, payments, driver's licenses, insurance documentation and other required rental paperwork.
  • Maintain and update RV listings and availability across our website and multiple rental platforms.
  • Coordinate with our service, cleaning and training teams to make sure RVs are prepared and ready for each customer.
  • Prepare customers for departure and assist with the check-in and return process.
  • Review returned rentals, communicate with customers regarding additional charges or damages, and process security deposits and refunds.
  • Maintain accurate rental records, customer files, calendars and internal tracking systems.
  • Assist with our RV storage and consignment programs, including customer records, billing and owner communication.
  • Help maintain RVs for sale on RV Trader, Facebook Marketplace and other platforms and respond to prospective buyers.
  • Assist with customer follow-up, Google reviews, marketing campaigns and other administrative projects.
  • Help improve office procedures and systems as the company continues to grow.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is friendly, confident, organized and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. This position requires someone who can communicate professionally with customers while also keeping track of many details behind the scenes.

You should be comfortable with computers and learning new software, able to communicate clearly by phone, text and email, and capable of switching between customer service, sales and administrative responsibilities throughout the day.

Experience in office management, reservations, hospitality, automotive/RV dealerships, rental operations, property management, customer service or inside sales would be beneficial, but RV experience is not required. We can teach the RV side of the business to the right person.

What Matters Most

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is extremely organized and dependable
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys working with customers
  • Is comfortable selling and closing reservations
  • Can multitask without losing track of details
  • Takes initiative and follows problems through to completion
  • Is comfortable learning several computer systems and online platforms
  • Works well with service technicians, cleaners, drivers and management
  • Can remain professional when handling customer complaints or disputes
  • Is willing to occasionally assist a customer outside normal business hours when necessary

This is an important position within our company and a great opportunity for someone who likes having variety, responsibility and ownership of their work rather than performing the same task all day.
