Job description

Title: Mitigation Project Manager (Servpro) – Mold/Water/Fire

Location: Norwalk, CT

FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000 (starting compensation will depend on experience)

DESCRIPTION

Servpro of Stamford, serving the Fairfield County (Norwalk, CT) area is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the role of the Mitigation Project Manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing Xactimate, XACTanalysis, DocuSketch, MICA and other proprietary software.
  2. Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.
  3. Obtain properly executed Authorization to Perform Services and Direction of Payment, i.e. Service Contract.
  4. Draft daily work orders on all projects, communicate and coordinate crews and resources (sub-contractors) to provide service on active projects.
  5. Review and maintain job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process in Drybook / Work Center 2.
  6. Maintain written communication with customers, COO, Office Coordinators, and other team members, vendors and insurance adjusters and representatives via email and phone.
  7. Manage sub-contractor invoices for jobs.
  8. On-Call responsibilities weekday and weekend rotation, which are calendared.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online google reviews.
  2. Provide priority emergency response to potential customers.
  3. Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs ensuring customer needs are met.
  4. Evaluate and sell projects
  5. Educate customers on process
  6. Oversee scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews following SERVPRO Franchise production guidelines

Other

  1. Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management
  2. Daily WIP (Work in Progress) Meeting Attendance is required.
  3. Company Monthly Team Meeting Attendance is required.

REQUIREMENTS, DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of experience in restoration and/or construction preferred
  • 3+ years of project management Experience required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Sense of ownership of each project and sense of urgency to complete them.
  • Strong management and people skills
  • Detail oriented, able to work within a budget, and know what quality work looks like.
  • Construction supervision experience necessary
  • Be able to bend, sit, stand, lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant Franchise Specific Software
  • Previous Insurance Claims Processing and Insurance Industry Experience Preferred
  • Franchise Specific Software: Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and others
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to adapt and pivot under demanding conditions, with the capacity to manage numerous projects at once
  • Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with customers
  • Capable to work in a fast-paced, high call volume, team-oriented environment
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish, a plus

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma/GED; required
  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Schedule:

  • 8 Hour Day / 40+ Hours Per Week Shift, required - Monday to Friday
  • Must be available for on-call rotation due to our 24-hour emergency services
  • Some night and weekend work are required

Overtime Requirement:

We are a 24/7 Emergency Services business. You will occasionally be expected to work nights and weekends to assist our customers in their time of need during storms, cold weather, and other natural or man-made emergency situations.

Environment: This position will be in-office and in the field environment; not eligible for hybrid or remote.
