Zantech is looking for a talented Project Manager to contribute to the success of our upcoming Technical Infrastructure and Platform Support project for an On-Site role based out of Arlington, VA.

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in providing:

  • Project Management (single point of accountability for all technical tasks)
  • Project Management Plan (PMP) and Technical Roadmap
  • User Adoption and Training Plan
  • Transition-In / Transition-Out Plan
  • Personnel Requirements (staffing plan, Key Personnel manning and replacement)
  • Agile portfolio and release management using a Government-provided tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)

The Project Manager serves as the Government's single point of accountability for the entire IT Support Services effort, integrating project management and technical execution across data ingestion, analytics, and cloud platform sustainment. Directly accountable for schedule, risk, and quality of all tasks.

Impact: Underperformance in this role puts execution of project all areas at risk.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Serve as single point of accountability integrating all technical tasks
  • Deliver and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP) and Technical Roadmap (CDRL A002), including the Future-Proofing & Tech Horizon Parity Plan
  • Manage stakeholder requests and prioritize the analytical and technical backlog
  • Execute a structured Agile continuous-delivery model; plan, package, and deploy releases per the Government-approved roadmap
  • Retain sole responsibility for supervision, task delegation, performance management, and administrative control of Contractor personnel (non-personal-services contract)
  • Deliver the User Adoption and Training Plan and coordinate a minimum of one training session per quarter
  • Lead the 30-day Transition-In and the Transition-Out plan and execution

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  • Ten (10)+ years managing Department of War (DoW) IT service contracts, including direct oral and written communication with senior-level Government and military personnel; prior experience as Project Manager on at least one contract valued over $5M annually or with a team over 15 personnel that explicitly included cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and Agile software development components.
  • Skills Required:
    • Agile/Scrum program management and backlog prioritization across a portfolio of dashboards and applications
    • Stakeholder management with senior Government and military leadership
    • Risk, schedule, and quality management for cloud infrastructure and data analytics programs
    • Proficiency with Government-provided tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
    • Supervision, task delegation, and administrative control of a multi-disciplinary technical team

Required Education/Certifications:

  • Education Required:
    • MA/MS degree and 10+ years of experience (Senior/Lead tier)
  • BA/BS with 12+ years of experience is an accepted substitute
  • Education Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Additional Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant)
  • Certifications Required:
    • One of: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Agilist (SA) (PWS Section 5.1)
  • Certifications Preferred:
