Service Contract Administrator

Service Contract Administrator is a critical role responsible for ensuring that customer contracts, warranties, and functional locations are accurately established, maintained, and governed within SAP S/4HANA. This position ensures effective Service Business execution through proper contract and warranty determination, cost control, resource alignment, and service readiness. The role works closely with Project Teams, Customer Support, Field Service, Renewals, Finance, SharedServices and Delivery Organizations to ensure contractual compliance, financial accuracy, and high-quality customer service delivery.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $110,000 to $137,000 annual at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Review and validate service contracts, including structure, billing, dates, and system linkage.
  • Coordinate intercompany contract requirements with global teams and renewal groups.
  • Ensure contracts are properly created, activated, and governed in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Manage third-party vendor contract alignment and support service order creation when needed.
  • Ensure warranties are correctly linked to Functional Locations and applied in service processes.
  • Review warranty-related service orders for eligibility and cost accuracy.
  • Align warranty coverage with service delivery methods and support reassignment decisions when required.
  • Determine if cost is accurately charged to the warranty and proper functional location.
  • Utilize Service Cloud (C4) and SAP S/4HANA to manage service tickets, contracts, service orders, and cost postings.
  • Monitor and apply financial controls such as stop-order criteria.
  • Support monthly financial activities, including cost settlement, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure contracts and service orders are properly closed, with all costs settled in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Coordinate with Finance for accurate contract completion and reporting.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, service operations, or warranty administration
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience collaborating with Finance, Project Teams, and Customer Service organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle and warranty management
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA service and contract modules
  • Ability to interpret contract entitlements and apply them to service delivery.
  • Financial and cost management acumen
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
  • High attention to detail and process discipline
  • Experience managing contracts.
  • Familiarity with Service Cloud or similar CRM/ticketing platforms
  • Exposure to intercompany service delivery models
  • Understanding of straight‑line and completed‑revenue recognition models.
