Position Description: JOB TITLE: Program Analyst
EMPLOYER: HealthMPowers, Inc.
REPORTS TO: Evaluation Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Contract-to-hire. Contract position through September 30, 2024 with eligibility for hire on October 1, 2024.
SALARY:
Contract (1099): $23,000 through September 30, 2024
Salary (W2): $45,000 base salary + competitive benefits package
TELEWORK: Hybrid. The schedule will consist of 2-3 days of in-office days in Norcross, GA and 2-3 days working remotely.
SUMMARY: The Program Analyst will be primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient data entry into various systems and databases. The Program Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of programmatic data and support data-driven decision-making processes with critical thinking and solution minded skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Evaluation Manager in program evaluation and reporting guided by SNAP-Ed Guidance, SNAP-Ed Framework, PEARS, and state program reports
Prepare monthly and quarterly SNAP-Ed reports
Assist with data cleansing in preparation for SNAP-Ed N-PEARS annual reports
Cleaning and formatting raw data to prepare for analysis and/or reporting. This may involve standardizing data formats, removing duplicates and resolving inconsistencies. Support data cleansing, coupling, analyses and complex survey analysis using appropriate software data resources (e.g. SAS, Qualtrics, SPSS, REDCap, DataFax)
Prepare data visualizations as requested
Maintain data files in accordance with necessary formats
Manage monthly program activity log for communications with appropriate external contractors
Maintain data to provide information for program decision making and prioritize evaluation and data information needs
Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports to sector leaders
Provide support in creation of programmatic data collection tools
Manage ongoing data check points throughout program year for the purpose of quarterly benchmark assessments
Provide support in ongoing data entry needs
Offer insights into data process improvement opportunities
Collect resource usage data and provide monthly updates to evaluation manager
Ensure accurate collection and reporting of site use of program resources
Collect, summarize and file staff program delivery documentation
Conducting regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency. Identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or errors promptly.
Verifying the accuracy and validity of data entries through cross-referencing with source documents, fellow staff and/or databses
Assisting Evaluation manager with data retrieval, manipulation, visualization and analysis tasks as needed.
Maintaining detailed documentation of data entry processes, procedures and standards to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational policies.
Generating reports or summaries based on entered data for internal or external stakeholders. This may involve creating charts, graphs, or other visualizations to communicate key insights effectively.
Collaborating with key staff from various departments to gather and clarify data requirements and address any data-related issues or concerns.
Proactively identifying opportunities to streamline data entry processes, enhance data quality and improve overall efficiency within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required, Masters degree in Public Health preferred or 1-3 years of related working experience in data entry and data inferences
Intermediate proficiency with statistical packages (e.g. SAS, SPSS, RStudio) required
Preferred experience in GIS mapping software
Experience with business analytic software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
Advanced MS Excel proficiency
Strategic vision for continuous data and evaluation advancements for the organization
