Overview

Join our team as a Part-Time Contracts Program Manager and support Washington Headquarters Services' Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program by leading contract execution and personnel oversight for this mission-critical support effort. You will manage and direct contractor operations, track costs and performance, ensure ManTech's senior leadership stays informed on program status, ensuring the program's investments translate into real impact for the Warfighter.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

Onsite: This part-time onsite position works Monday through Friday, standard duty hours 0600-1700 with core hours 0900-1500, based onsite in the National Capital Region (primarily Pentagon and Mark Center, Alexandria, VA). Some telework may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Provide management and oversight of contractor personnel supporting the ManTech Program, directing, administering, and assuring quality across all task order execution
  • Maintain accurate records and track all costs associated with performance, providing detailed financial breakdowns by office and individual
  • Provide executive-level oversight for complex contract operations involving distributed teams and multiple concurrent projects
  • Manage relationships with ManTech's senior leadership, ensuring client executives remain informed of program status, technical insights, and project impacts on the organization's broader strategic vision
  • Plan work efforts, allocate resources, and manage personnel across all contract operations
  • Mitigate risks and ensure strict adherence to quality and performance standards across all tasks
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for overall task order execution, quality, and compliance
Qualifications

Required: 

  • Master's degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university - required (no substitution in lieu of education)
  • 10 years of experience specifically as a Contracts Program Manager (not general program management experience - this is a title/functional requirement)
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Strong business, programmatic, and technical skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve mission objectives quickly and efficiently
  • Proficient with MS Office suite

Desired:

  • Prior experience managing contract operations for a DoD or OSD-level research and development program
  • Experience with distributed, multi-project teams and complex cost/financial tracking by office or cost center
  • Demonstrated experience briefing senior executive leadership on program status and strategic impact
  • Prior experience as Key Personnel on a federal contract
