Work you'll do

As a Specialist, Contracts and Procurement Management on the Contracts Operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing complex contract types, including firm-fixed-price (FFP), time-and-materials (T&M), cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ), blanket purchase agreements (BPAs), subcontracts, consulting agreements, state and local government contracts, and international agreements
  • Supporting the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, modifications, compliance, and closeout activities, while analyzing contractual terms to identify risks and support compliance with regulatory and client requirements
  • Using contract management systems, automation tools, reporting platforms, dashboards, trackers, and reports to maintain data integrity, monitor contract performance, and support operational efficiency
  • Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), analytics tools, and data insights to support contract review, risk identification, compliance monitoring, decision-making, and process improvement
  • Partnering with legal, finance, project teams, and other stakeholders to resolve contract issues, mitigate risk, support audits and compliance reviews, and provide coaching, training, and guidance to junior analysts and team members

  • Familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, or process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Certification in contract management, procurement, analytics, or a related field
  • Experience developing dashboards and automated reporting solutions
  • Experience supporting subcontract administration
  • Experience conducting training, mentoring, or knowledge-sharing activities

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 to $110,500.
