Job description

General Description: Assist Account Management Team in the service and retention of clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist Account Managers with Policy Renewal and Open Enrollment process

  • Help prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) by obtaining census data from clients and gathering general client information from carriers/administrators
  • Aid development of Policy Renewal Analysis with proposal review and data entry
  • Request contract changes and/or plan amendments from carriers/administrators as needed
  • Contribute to creation of employee Benefit Guides and Open Enrollment Materials for employee educational meetings
  • Review employee Benefit Summary drafts for clients including policy changes and clarifications

Assist Account Managers with day-to-day operations

  • Process employee coverage additions, changes and terminations in carrier/administrator online portals
  • Fulfill requests for supplies from clients
  • Track receipt of ID cards, booklets, and contracts
  • Verify accuracy of client plan documents
  • Provide general administrative support for the team
  • Develop client/carrier/administrator contact sheets
  • Maintain accurate client and team information in agency management system
  • Maintain client documents in shared drive
  • Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues
  • Respond to requests from all partners by stated timeframes

  • โ€ข Organized, detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
  • โ€ข Ability to work in a team environment.

  • โ€ข Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, carriers and administrators.
  • โ€ข Industry specific experience not required, but office administrative experience is helpful.
