Open Enrollment Specialist (Seasonal/Consultative Client Support)Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Open Enrollment Specialist to guide organizations through their year-end benefits enrollment process. This is a consultative, appointment-based role where you will manage your own schedule and deliver high-touch support to clients during one of their most critical annual cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients with a primary benefits effective date of January 1, ensuring a smooth and successful open enrollment experience
  • Lead the end-to-end open enrollment process, from initial consultation through completion
  • Conduct kickoff calls to:
    • Set expectations and timelines
    • Review plan or carrier changes
    • Gather essential data to prepare for enrollment
  • Facilitate ongoing client working sessions:
    • Provide step-by-step guidance throughout the enrollment cycle
    • Educate clients on best practices and system navigation
    • Empower clients to complete required actions independently
  • Maintain a high-volume workload, supporting 30–50 clients during peak season
  • Deliver a professional, consultative experience as a primary client-facing advisor
  • Conduct 6–7 hours of client calls per day via Webex and screen sharing tools
  • Manage a flexible calendar where clients can schedule time directly with you
Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with internal coordination teams who:
    • Manage inbound inquiries and communications
    • Ensure follow-ups within 24–48 hours
    • Route requests to specialized teams (e.g., claims support) when needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
