Now Hiring: Contract Manager (Technology Procurement)

Location: Hybrid – Vienna, VA

About the Role

Contract Manager to support its Procurement team in negotiating, executing, and managing commercial contracts for technology-related products and services.

This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in contract law, vendor negotiations, and risk management—especially in the areas of cloud services and emerging technologies like AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly in technology procurement
  • Lead contract negotiations and modifications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business units to define acquisition strategies and manage vendor relationships
  • Conduct cost/price analysis and evaluate vendor proposals
  • Coordinate contract reviews with Procurement Management and Legal as needed
  • Provide guidance on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • Support contract closeout, termination, and settlement processes
  • Present recommendations and solutions for complex contractual challenges
  • Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication throughout the contract lifecycle

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, contract law, and procurement best practices
  • Experience in acquisition planning, strategy development, and contract administration
  • Proven ability to evaluate and mitigate contractual risk
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contract Management, IT, or related field
  • Highly desirable: Juris Doctor (JD)
