We operate three leading brands within the marine industry: Elite Marine A/C, Southern Marine Supply, and Spot Zero. Together, our companies provide industry-leading marine HVAC, wholesale distribution, and advanced water purification solutions to customers across the marine sector. As our organizations continue to grow, scale, and integrate technology across all business functions, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and optimize our technology infrastructure, systems, and IT operations company-wide.


POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Manager will serve as the primary technology leader across all three companies, overseeing the organization’s overall IT strategy, infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, SaaS ecosystem, and user support operations. This individual will ensure our technology environment is secure, scalable, efficient, and aligned with the operational goals of the business. The IT Manager will partner closely with leadership, operations, finance, engineering, HR, and customer-facing teams to ensure technology enables scalability, visibility, efficiency, and exceptional business performance across all brands.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversee all day-to-day IT operations across Elite Marine A/C, Southern Marine Supply, and Spot Zero

· Manage company-wide hardware, software, networks, internet connectivity, and endpoint devices

· Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud systems, network equipment, firewalls, backups, and remote access tools

· Ensure system uptime, reliability, performance, and business continuity across all locations

· Develop and maintain IT documentation, system architecture maps, and asset management processes

· Own and manage the company’s SaaS ecosystem, including licensing, provisioning, integrations, renewals, permissions, and usage optimization

· Administer and support ERP, CRM, ticketing, inventory, communication, and operational systems across the organization

· Lead software rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects from planning through execution

· Oversee company-wide ticketing and IT support operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues

· Provide escalated support for hardware, software, connectivity, security, and systems-related challenges

· Create standardized onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees, including account provisioning, equipment setup, and access management

· Train employees on technology tools, cybersecurity best practices, and system usage

· Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices across all companies

· Manage cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, MFA, backups, disaster recovery, access controls, and network security

· Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance issues while proactively improving the organization’s security posture

· Coordinate with external vendors and partners on cybersecurity audits, monitoring, and incident response

· Manage API integrations and data flow between business systems to improve operational efficiency and reporting visibility

· Assist with database management, data governance, and maintaining clean, accurate operational data across systems

· Collaborate with department leaders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

· Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure cost-effective procurement of technology services and equipment

· Manage IT budgets, software renewals, licensing, and technology purchasing decisions

· Partner with executive leadership to align IT strategy with company growth and operational objectives

· Build scalable systems and processes to support expansion, acquisitions, and evolving operational demands

· Serve as the organization’s primary internal technology leader and advisor

Requirements:

· 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or management responsibility

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

· Strong experience managing multi-site IT operations and business technology environments

· Experience administering SaaS ecosystems, cloud platforms, and enterprise business systems

· Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, endpoint management, and systems administration

· Experience managing ticketing/help desk systems and end-user support processes

· Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and operational software platforms

· Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, cloud services, and modern business infrastructure

· Strong troubleshooting, project management, communication, and organizational skills

· Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment


PREFERRED

· Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, marine, HVAC, or field-service organizations

· Familiarity with Power BI, API integrations, SQL, and business intelligence tools

· Experience managing MSP relationships and hybrid IT environments

· Cybersecurity certifications or advanced infrastructure certifications are a plus
